Commercial use
We can offer pre-built dual control simulators for entertainment and educational purposes (Basic Aviation Training Device). Our simulators support a multitude of visual solutions ranging from flat screen displays and VR to advanced projection systems. For commercial projects we use Prepar3D or X-Plane simulator software. Cockpit Gauges That We Recommend
Whether you’re looking to build a flight training devices or your own home cockpit, Flight Illusion can provide you a large range of "real" simulator gauges and avionics. We have had the pleasure of working with them on a custom gauge project. The final product was delivered on time, price and quality. Great support throughout the process.
Reality XP offer a broad portfolio of products and services for simulation. We have used their gauges and GPS simulators for years in non-commercial projects. Our new analog panel utilizes the Reality XP GTN 750/650 Touch. Combined with Air Manager you will have a nice steam gauge cockpit combined with a powerful navigation and radio management unit.
Air Manager is an application which allows you to create your own 2D flight simulator panels. You can run it on the same computer as your flight simulator, or on a separate computer. Our analog panel uses this software to recreate the gauges of a steam gauge cockpit. They offer a vast library of gauges you can us in your own project, but Sim-Mech will produce gauges that will fit our customers needs.
If you are looking for Garmin simulators with a full tactile feel, RealSimGear seem like a safe option made by Pilots for Pilots. Our standard dual cockpit panel can be modified to fit these affordable but nice looking units.
SimVim offer a solid freeware solution for X-Plane, SimVim supports both hardware and software I/O. You can run 2D gauges on a modest PC or Raspberry PI. Or you can make your own simulator panel with lights, knobs and switches. You can support the project on Patreon or Boosty.
Delivery & Returns
Shipping rates are based on location and size, but we strive to give you the best rate available. International shipping is handled by Bring or DHL.
General Conditions
The General Terms and Conditions of trading apply to all or any services, goods or otherwise provided by the Company to Customer or third parties.
Returns /Refund
Bespoke Pieces: For bespoke orders, the following terms apply:
1. Once payment is received and a manufacturing order is confirmed, a full refund cannot be provided.
2. Any changes or cancellations to bespoke orders must be notified in writing within 5 working days of the payment. Transactional fees will be deducted from the sales price.
3. If the bespoke piece has already entered the manufacturing process, no refunds or cancellations can be accepted.
Returns/Refund for In Stock Items: For in stock items, the following terms apply:
1. Customers returning in stock items will be eligible for a refund of the item's cost only.
2. The customer is responsible for covering the postage and delivery costs associated with returning the item to our workshop. Unclaimed packages are not refunded.
3. Notification of returns must be provided within 14 days of receiving the product.
4. The returned item must reach our workshop within 28 days of the customer's receipt, and it must be in unused condition.
5. A refund for in stock items will be processed only once the returned item is confirmed to be unused and in perfect condition.
Delivery/Delays
All delivery dates are approximate until confirmed by workshop. The Company shall not be liable for any delays, loss or damage beyond the Company’s control or arising out of strikes, lock-outs, labour disputes or shortages in labour or material and involving the Company or its suppliers or manufacturers or delivery agents.
Import duties and VAT
Export outside Norway will not be charged for VAT during check-out. International customer are responsible for all import duties, taxes and VAT. We encourage you to check local law in your country before ordering. Sales documentation and a pro-forma invoice will be included in your shipping details.
